Otago Foreign Policy School opportunity

As part of our NextGen Programme, the Foundation offers four travel grants for emerging scholars to attend the annual Otago Foreign Policy School in Dunedin (21-23 June 2024) and also attend the Foundation's auxiliary workshop and roundtable on 21 June.

The grants are for up to $1000 each and are to contribute towards flights, accommodation, meals not covered during the conference and registration.

Successful grantees will arrive prior to the Otago Foreign Policy School to attend the Foundation's Friday workshop and roundtable.

We will be joined by representatives from the Department of Prime Minister and Cabinet, Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade, as well as students and academics from the University of Otago.

In addition to stimulating conversations, the events will be fantastic networking opportunities for participants interested in a career in foreign policy.

Applications close 5pm, 8 April

Previous participants in the Foundation's Otago Foreign Policy School roundtable talk about what they got out of the experience
