Andrew Corney

Andrew has been a teacher since 2000 and has taught in New Zealand and overseas, including seven years in Kuwait and two years in China. Through these experiences he has developed a strong interest in Asia and Asian cultures.

Andrew is the deputy principal and Liger Leadership Academy in Queenstown. He enjoys exploring new digital tools to use in the classroom and is passionate about the purposeful use of technology in education.

Through the Champions programme, he is looking forward to working with other educators to come up with meaningful ways to support teachers to help students improve their understanding of Asia.
