Tracey Epps
Tracey is an international lawyer and policy consultant based in Wellington, New Zealand. She has extensive experience in international trade and investment law and policy as well as related regulatory areas.
Tracey works on a variety of issues with government and private sector clients in New Zealand and across the Pacific and has been an arbitrator in an international dispute on aircraft subsidies in the World Trade Organisation between the United States and European Union.
She is a regular participant in the Asia New Zealand’s Track II programme.
Previously, she was a senior advisor in the New Zealand Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade and then headed the International Trade Law Practice at Chapman Tripp, a leading New Zealand law firm. She has also worked as a consultant in the health care sector in Canada.
Tracey has a BA/LLB(Hons) from Auckland University, and an LLM and SJD from the University of Toronto in Canada. She regularly teaches international trade law at the University of Otago as well as government officials through various capacity-building programmes.
