The Foundation's Asia Media Centre offers a television journalism internship at Sri Lanka Rūpavāhinī Corporation (SLRC).

Media internships are offered through the Foundation's Asia Media Centre - set up to help improve the breadth and depth of coverage of Asia issues in the New Zealand media. Internships provide New Zealand journalism students and recent graduates with experience working at a media organisation in Asia in order to gain a better understanding of the people, places and culture of the host country.

“A crash course in life” — that’s how 2025 ACICIS intern Paridhi Bakshi describes her time living in Jakarta while interning at The Jakarta Post. Over six weeks in Indonesia, Paridhi reported on local stories, studied Bahasa Indonesia, explored the capital and its surrounding regions, and deepened her understanding of Southeast Asia’s largest nation.
