After 28 years of surveying New Zealanders’ perceptions of Asia, the Asia New Zealand Foundation has turned the lens back on New Zealand, for the first time asking 200 subject matter experts across Singapore, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines how they view New Zealand and its foreign policy.
Highlights:
Which country feels the warmest towards New Zealand?
How is New Zealand depicted in local media?
Is New Zealand seen as upholding its independent foreign policy?
Do our Southeast Asian neighbours think New Zealand lives up to its claims and promises?
What areas should New Zealand be investing more in and increasing cooperation?
Join us for this in-person presentation and panel discussion and the chance to ask questions and learn from informed experts on Asia on 13 November from 5:30pm - 7:00pm at Government Building Lecture Theatre 1 (GLBT1), Victoria University of Wellington Pipitea campus, 33 Bunny Street, Pipitea, Wellington.
