Samson Rambo



Samson Rambo Vaotu’ua is a Samoan filmmaker from Ōtara, South Auckland.

He is the co writer and co director of the NZFC supported short film My Friend Michael Jones, which received international recognition including awards at ImagineNATIVE and Whānau Mārama NZIFF, and qualified for the Academy Awards.

His experience spans television, branded content, and music videos, including work as field director on Frickin Dangerous Bro On The Road.

Samson has also worked in film distribution with Madman Entertainment and Rialto Distribution, shaping his interest in how Pacific stories can reach global audiences.
