Ripine is a senior policy analyst at the Ministry for Pacific Peoples, with experience in ministerial support, policy analysis and cross-government coordination.
He recently served as private secretary to five ministers across two administrations, supporting the Health and Pacific Peoples portfolios.
A TupuToa alumnus, his leadership is grounded in service, humility and collaboration. He hopes to draw on these values to strengthen connections and foster meaningful partnerships across New Zealand, Asia and the Pacific.
Of Samoan and Solomon Islands heritage, he holds a Bachelor of Science and Postgraduate Diploma in Public Health from the University of Otago and is undertaking postgraduate study in International Relations at Victoria University of Wellington.
