Pavida Pananond
Pavida Pananond (PhD, University of Reading) is Professor of International Business at Thammasat Business School and Alan Rugman Research Fellow at the University of Reading's Henley Business School (2024–2025).
Pavida's research focuses on global strategy, emerging market multinationals, and global value chains. Her work has appeared in leading journals including California Management Review and Global Strategy Journal.
Pavida regularly contributes opinion editorials to regional media outlets, including Nikkei Asia and Global Asia. She serves on the editorial boards of several academic journals, including as Area Editor for the Journal of International Business Policy.
Based in Bangkok, Pavida brings a Southeast Asian perspective to debates on economic integration, industrial policy, and Asia's evolving role in the global economy.
