Discover China

In this Y3-4 social studies unit students will select a city in China to explore independently through a research workbook.

Students will create a three-day itinerary for visiting a city of their choice, which includes researching local attractions, activities and travel planning.

Teacher-led activities build students' knowledge of China in a wide variety of areas such as geography, the Great Wall, festivals, and daily life. This unit can be easily adapted for Y5-6.
