Kaleb Uri-ke
Kaleb is a Tokyo based Te Whītau Tūhono Leadership Network member originally from Ōtautahi Christchurch.
He earned a Bachelor of Arts in Japanese from the University of Canterbury and is a former recipient of the New Zealand Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia (PMSA) where he obtained a Master of Arts in International Relations from Waseda University in Tokyo.
Kaleb joined the Te Whītau Tūhono Leadership Network in 2016 while he was studying Chinese at the National Taiwan University in Taipei, Taiwan as a Huayu Enrichment Scholarship recipient.
He is a proud member of the Leadership Network Tangata Moana (Indigenous Pacific Peoples) where he represents the Cook Islands, and Te Kāhui Māori.
