Justine Roberts

Justine was born and raised in Tūranganui-a-Kiwa Gisborne, with Filipino descent through her mum. She works as a principal policy advisor at the New Zealand Space Agency, based within the Ministry of Business, Innovation and Employment.

Most recently Justine led the development of New Zealand’s first National Space Policy. Prior to this, she worked at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade for over five years and within that time led Pacific and trade policies and was a private secretary to three Ministers of Foreign Affairs. In her spare time, she is ticking off Aotearoa’s Great Walks.
