Rebecca Tang

Born in China and raised in Tāmaki, Rebecca is a film practitioner and works in business affairs at NZ On Air.

She is passionate about storytelling and helping film creatives bring their stories to life, especially when they bring new, diverse voices to the forefront.

Rebecca holds a BA(Hons)/LLB in history and film. She was a Chinese History arts fellow and wrote her honours thesis in history on attitudes towards Chinese immigration in early 20th century New Zealand.

Rebecca's interest in leadership lies in the film-producing space, from running safe and effective production teams to building relationships with funders and other producers. Through the network, she looks forward to connecting with like-minded individuals and building up the skills and confidence to lead.
