Ming Xuan Richard Li

Richard is an investment associate at New Zealand Super Fund, aka the Guardians of New Zealand Superannuation.

In his role, he is responsible for supporting the origination, assessment, execution and active management of private market investments in New Zealand, Asia and beyond. Richard also assists the development of internal expertise as the lead analyst for the Fund’s sustainable transition investments and is a member of the impact investing working group.  

Richard is a second-generation Chinese-New Zealander who was born in Dunedin, grew up in Christchurch and currently resides in Auckland. He speaks fluent Mandarin and Teochew and is involved in multiple inter-country initiatives.
