Logan Byrne



Logan Byrne (Ngāti Porou, Kūki 'Āirani) is a foreign policy officer at Manatū Aorere Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade.

She has achieved a Masters of Political Science with Distinction from Te Herenga Waka Victoria University of Wellington and has previously worked for non-profits in the international education sector.  

Logan is passionate about community leadership and is involved with a range of organisations: she is a member of Te Ropu Wahine Maori Toko i te Ora Māori Women's Welfare League and the Cook Islands Society New Zealand and serves as an advisory group member for Inclusive Aotearoa Collective Tūhono.

She has previously served as a trustee for two community organisations and has a keen interest in enhancing rangatahi representation within different forms of governance.  

Logan is excited to be a member of the Leadership Network. She looks forward to increasing her understanding of the relationships that Aotearoa New Zealand holds with partners across the Asia region.
