Jessica Chong


Jess Chong is a passionate senior technologist in Aotearoa’s food and beverage industry and is the Chairwoman for the Auckland Branch of the New Zealand Institute of Food Science & Technology.

In this role, she also sits on the Board of Directors for the NZIFST and has passionately pushed for better engagement, growth, and diversity in the industry.

Jess has also taken on a leading role in the Institute’s strategy refresh. She is half Chinese and was born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau.
