Ethan Laby

Ethan is a Management Accountant at PGG Wrightson Seeds in Christchurch.

He is a chartered accountant through CAANZ (Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand), serves on the Young Chartered Accountants Panel, and has been involved working as Treasurer and Board Member for a prominent charity.

Ethan’s first experience visiting Asia was through the Prime Minister’s Scholarship for Asia, where he worked in a children’s orphanage in Thailand. This ignited his passion for the region, and he was fortunate enough to return through the Asia New Zealand Foundation internships where he spent three months working at KPMG Vietnam and exploring the country (along with Singapore and Malaysia too!).

Ethan’s passions include baking (and was on the Great Kiwi Bake Off TV show), travelling and advocating for those that feel they do not have a voice.
