Daryn Govender

Daryn is a corporate strategy manager at the Bank of New Zealand where he specialises in strategy, planning and execution.

He is passionate about diversity and inclusion and governance. In 2021 Daryn was named a Top Diverse Emerging Board-Ready Director by the Superdiversity Institute and the Ministry for Ethnic Communities. He was also awarded a First Steps in Governance Award by the Institute of Directors in 2022.

In 2017, he undertook an internship at KPMG Vietnam through the Asia New Zealand Foundation’s Business Internship Programme.

Daryn holds civil engineering and commerce degrees from the University of Auckland.
