Madiha Ali Changezi is a refugee and human rights lawyer at Dixon & Co Lawyers, with an LLB (Hons) from the University of Waikato.
She was previously a judges’ clerk at the Auckland High Court.
Her interest in the Asia-Pacific region traces back to her whakapapa to Pakistan and is reflected in her policy and advocacy work with displaced populations across the region, including through the Asia Pacific Refugee Rights Network and Centre for Asia Pacific Refugee Studies.
Madiha was a Y25 recipient in 2021 and received a Hamilton City Council Civic Award for her community contributions.
