Across her career, Lucy has worked extensively at the nexus of creativity, storytelling and innovation.
Her GLAM sector journey began at Te Papa’s Mahuki, supporting culture tech entrepreneurs, then later the National Library, where she was responsible for He Tohu.
Lucy moved into service design, working with Indigenous design agency IDIA before joining Te Matarau a Māui as an innovation specialist.
Lucy now manages Massey University's screen innovation hub. She joined the NZ Academy of Fine Arts Council to amplify arts equity and exposure in Aotearoa. Lucy runs a creative consultancy, Gander.
She is a classical musician (opera), bassist, painter, sculptor and documentary filmmaker.
Lucy lives in Wellington and is of Te Ātiawa ki Waikawa whakapapa.
