Leadership Network Hong Kong Hui
The Leadership Network is calling for applications from its members for the 2026 Hong Kong Hui. The hui has been tailored to showcase connections between New Zealand and Hong Kong and to provide opportunities for members to learn about the city's unique cultural landscape.
Each year, the Foundation offers Leadership Network members opportunities to take part in offshore delegations that develop their understanding of an Asian country’s society and culture, build new connections and contribute to stronger bilateral relationships.
Offshore hui bring network members together through shared experiences, strengthening their connections and Asia skills and empowering them to drive positive change in New Zealand.
Hong Kong serves as a unique crossroads where Chinese heritage meets international modernisation with rich history and rapid economic growth. The city is a leader in urban placemaking and high-density planning, while its strategic position as an international financial center makes it an important connector between southern China and global markets. Hong Kong and New Zealand share a long-standing relationship built on trade, education, and people-to-people connections.
