Keelan Heesterman
With a background in Public Policy, Keelan currently works at Deloitte in operations and technology, with a focus on government.
Keelan is a passionate problem solver committed to helping Aotearoa tackle complex policy challenges.
His experience across industries and roles—including the Automobile Association, Ignite Consultants, and Youth Councils—has honed his leadership and advocacy skills.
Travelling to China as part of his work delivering NZ Chinese Language Week helped Keelan deepen his understanding of Asia and the importance of human connection in a digital world.
He aims to further explore New Zealand’s role in Asia and what opportunities this might offer as we strive to solve long-term policy problems. Outside work, Keelan enjoys music, and the outdoors - weather and injuries permitting.
