Kate Judson is a New Zealand journalist and photographer fascinated by people, power and the stories that connect them.
Her work explores the human impact of larger systems, particularly where Asia, international affairs, human rights and investigative storytelling intersect.
Kate’s time working in the Philippines, including at The Philippine Star, has deepened her understanding of the region and reinforced her commitment to telling stories that cross borders and challenge assumptions.
She believes leadership is grounded in service rather than status, and sees journalism as a force for truth and justice. Kate holds journalism and design qualifications from Massey University.
