Kate Falloon



Born and raised in Tairāwhiti Gisborne, Kate (she/her) is passionate about rangatahi accessing quality education and facilitating opportunities to strengthen Aotearoa and Asia’s connection. 

Kate is a founding Board member of Whakamanawa Foundation, which strives to empower rangatahi Tairāwhiti who are heading to tertiary study.

In a previous role, she supported delivery of the Prime Minister’s Scholarships to Asia and Latin America. 

 Kate holds a Bachelor of Global Studies majoring in Global Politics, Human Rights, and Korean, and a Bachelor of Arts majoring in English Literature from the University of Auckland.  

She is a public servant based in Pōneke and also serves as Secretary for the Wellington branch of the National Council for Women.
