Husna Harmi
Husna is of Southeast Asian descent with family connections to Malaysia and Singapore.
Husna’s whakapapa to Southeast Asia and Malaysia-based internship with The United Nations University (International Institute for Global Health) has led to a deeper understanding of health, education and cultural responsiveness within the Western Pacific region.
These experiences drive Husna’s emerging role as an academician within the local and international contexts.
Husna’s current passion for educating the next generation of future leaders who can live, work and learn in a globalised world underpins her doctoral research that focuses on the idea of global citizenship from an occupational perspective.
