Fiona Natusch is drawn to boards where conditions don't sit still. She chairs ADC Microfinance, which has governed a financial inclusion partnership in Northern Myanmar through the military coup.
Fiona also chairs will&able, a commercial enterprise employing 130 neurodivergent and differently abled people through circular services for businesses (from cleaning to light manufacturing) and a range of cleaning products, aiming for 300 jobs by 2030.
Her grounding is in economics, and she has provided strategic advice across infrastructure, energy, agriculture, and emergency management.
Fiona's career in Asia was ignited through a Foundation internship with a mobile banking startup in Cambodia, later leading strategy and business development for Proximity Designs in Myanmar and co-founding the NZ Myanmar Chamber of Commerce.
A chartered member of the Institute of Directors, Fiona is part of its Mentoring for Diversity programme, and holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge.
