Auckland Writers Festival | Waituhu o Tāmaki


The Foundation is supporting three events at this year's Auckland Writers Festival in May.

The Foundation-supported events are:

From a Distance: A writers talk by Dominion Post editor and former Washington Post bureau chief Anna Fifield about her book The Great Successor: The secret rise and rule of Kim Jong Un. Fifield will also discuss her years reporting on Asia and her insights into North Korea's leader as well as her take on where Asia is headed in the next decade.

A Nobel Life – Kazuo Ishiguro:  A livestream conversation with Nobel Laureate Kazuo Ishiguro about his life's work, including his latest book, Klara and the Sun.

A Clear Dawn: Attend the launch of the first-ever anthology of Asian New Zealand creative writing. Enjoy a complimentary glass of wine with selected readings from the book.
