Visiting entrepreneurs
Passawee (Patsy) Kodaka
Folkcharm, Founder and Managing Director
Patsy is the founder and managing director of Folkcharm, a social and ethical enterprise creating sustainable apparel and accessories.
Folkcharm works with organic-cotton farmers in Northern Thailand before hand-spinning and hand-weaving the cotton into garments.
In October 2018, Patsy travelled alongside seven other leading Southeast Asian sustainability entrepreneurs through New Zealand.
Visiting Auckland, Queenstown and Wellington, the group met with business owners with a focus on sustainability and attended the Foundation's Sustainability Hui, where they networked with local entrepreneurs and members of the Foundation's Leadership Network.
“This trip has been so much more than just a 'study tour' of New Zealand," Patsy says.
"The places we visited, people we met, ideas we exchanged and the discussions we had, made for an incredible learning experience.”
