Aggie co-founder
Emma Michelsen is the co-founder of Aggie, a New Zealand-made, science-led supplement brand supporting women through hormonal health challenges including pregnancy nausea, period pain, and hormonal digestive discomfort.
Emma founded the company after experiencing two rounds of Hyperemesis Gravidarum (severe morning sickness) during her own pregnancies, and set out to build a genuinely effective, evidence-based alternative to the limited options available to women like her.
Drawing on her background in Food and Nutrition alongside PhD nutritionists at Massey University, she developed Aggie's first formulation, Morning Relief, which has since grown into a full product range stocked in more than 60 retailers and pharmacies across New Zealand and Australia.
Before Aggie, Emma spent over a decade as a design director, working with clients including Rocket Lab and several ASX-listed companies. She is currently exploring opportunities to bring Aggie to new markets across Southeast Asia.
