Emma Lloyd
Emma Lloyd is a project engineer at Meridian Energy, where she delivers renewable energy and electric vehicle charging infrastructure projects throughout Aotearoa.
Alongside her engineering career, she holds governance and leadership roles in the electricity industry, including with the Electricity Engineers’ Association, IEEE New Zealand South Section, and the Aruhiko Power Engineering Excellence Trust.
Emma is passionate about developing the next generation of engineers and creating pathways for greater diversity and representation in STEM.
Her work with IEEE has taken her throughout the Asia-Pacific region, where she contributes to regional leadership initiatives and supports collaboration between engineers, industry, and academia.
