Emily Sionetuato (née Muli) hails from Fua’amotu and Kanokupolu, Tonga, and was born and raised in Tāmaki Makaurau.
A dedicated māmā, communications leader and award-winning recording artist, Emily is deeply passionate about storytelling, culture and community.
As director of communications for the Pasifika Medical Association Group, she leads brand, marketing and communications strategy across the organisation and its entities.
As an artist, Emily blends her Tongan heritage with soulful songwriting, sharing her music across Aotearoa and internationally, including as a backing vocalist for other NZ artists.
Across every role, Emily’s purpose remains the same: to share stories authentically and nurture the vā between people, place and community.
