Clare Swallow is an independent director, strategist and facilitator who works with boards and leadership teams navigating strategy, growth and change.
Clare is an independent director of Bay Venues Limited, one of New Zealand’s largest council-controlled organisations, and previously served as deputy chair of Tourism Bay of Plenty and an independent director of PropTech company Forbury through its international growth and subsequent acquisition.
Clare is the founder of strategy consultancy Mulberry St and an NZTE Beachheads advisor, supporting New Zealand businesses with international growth strategy, innovation and people and culture.
She is also an executive fellow at the University of Waikato, where she teaches Design Thinking and leads international MBA study tours.
A chartered member of the Institute of Directors, Clare brings a human-centred, future-focused perspective to governance.
