Cassidy (Ngāti Kahungunu ki Wairoa, Scottish Heritage) is a product of the communities that raised her.
Cassidy spent more than a decade growing up across Malaysia, moving through a local tadika (kindergarten) and international schools before finishing high school in New Zealand.
After receiving her Master of Global Business, Cassidy began her career in the graduate programme at EY, working her way to business transformation consultant.
After EY, Cassidy founded Neurā Technology, which grew out of her own experience as a dyslexic person.
To deepen her expertise in this space, she is now completing a master's by thesis in Information Systems at Te Herenga Waka, Victoria University of Wellington, researching how technology adoption really happens and how systems can be built to include the people usually designed around rather than for.
Grateful to her parents for these experiences, Cassidy carries what moving between these worlds taught her into how she approaches relationships, leadership, and problem-solving today.
