The Asia New Zealand Foundation Te Whītau Tūhono is offering up to 10 places for emerging Māori business leaders to be part of a bespoke Māori F&B business delegation travelling to Singapore and Thailand from 18-28th of May 2023.

On the ground

The first part of the visit (18-24th May) will focus on understanding, current and future, food production, distribution and consumption in Singapore and Thailand. For example, visiting cultivated meat and vertical farming operations through to meeting with potential investors and distributors.

The full programme will be finalised once successful applicants are confirmed – to ensure the highest quality experience for all delegates.

Please note: This opportunity was initially advertised with Malaysia also included; however, for programming purposes it has now been modified to include Singapore and Thailand only.

Meeting business leaders

Part two of the visit will be attending the Foundation's 2023 YBLI (Young Business Leaders Initiative) Summit in Thailand from 24-28 May 2023.

The summit will bring together over 60 of Southeast Asia’s most impressive entrepreneurs for four days of networking, keynote speakers, cultural sharing and breakout sessions all with the purpose of creating enduring connections and exploring opportunities to increase New Zealand - Southeast Asian business ventures.

This delegation will provide you with access to unparalleled networks across Southeast Asia and a strong insight into the opportunities for your F&B business in these three countries.
