Derryn Bracey describes his time interning at Beca

The two successful interns will be placed in Beca’s office in Jakarta. They will join a team engaged in activities across the South East Asian region, ranging from back office operations to business development at Beca. The interns will be given a specific project or meaningful work to do and will be paired with a mentoring supervisor to monitor the interns’ professional development. The internship period is for three months, starting in early December 2019 and finishing in late February 2020.

The internship will be particularly interesting for students specialising in the following fields of engineering:

  • Structural
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical.

The Foundation and Beca will support the interns to oversee their professional development and overall welfare.

What's covered?

The Asia New Zealand Foundation will cover the cost of return airfares to Indonesia, travel insurance, and an allowance to cover accommodation and living expenses.
