Bhushan Yalmar

Bhushan Yalmar grew up in rural Maharashtra, India, where early exposure to farming shaped his understanding of the challenges farmers face in accessing fair and reliable markets.  

His journey into agribusiness began by organising farmer groups and leading export initiatives to European and Middle Eastern markets, managing everything from buyer relationships to compliance and logistics.

This experience led him to build Zorro QC, where we provide independent quality inspection services and are developing technology to make fruit grading and quality assessment more consistent and scalable. 

He is particularly interested in building systems that bring greater transparency, trust, and efficiency to international horticulture trade.
