The Foundation's Asia Symposium brings together leading experts from across New Zealand and Asia to discuss key geostrategic developments facing our region, with a particular focus on the growing role of small and middle powers. 

This full-day symposium will feature keynote presentations, expert panels and facilitated discussions covering themes such as:

  • the shifting geostrategic environment in Asia

  • demographic change and technological transformation

  • maritime security and resilient supply chains

  • environmental challenges and sustainability

  • the geopolitics of aid.

Given the wintery (and in Wellington, windy) weather we've had recently, no one could be blamed for opting to hunker down at home rather than bracing the cold to attend evening events.
