Arts Delegation Programme
The Arts Delegation Programme supports New Zealand arts decision-makers to build meaningful, long-term relationships with key organisations and events across Asia.
Each year we deliver at least three sector-specific delegations that bring together senior practitioners to meet counterparts, discover new work and develop pathways for collaboration.
Delegations will be widely promoted on the Foundation's website and social media channels. To keep up to date with the latest Asia New Zealand Foundation news and opportunities, you can sign up to recieve the Foundation's monthly newsletter in the footer of this page.
Delegations are anchored around major festivals and market platforms, with a focus on high-value introductions, sector intelligence, and practical outcomes.
Participants receive structured support before, during and after the visit, including briefings, facilitated introductions and follow-up support to help turn connections into tangible opportunities for New Zealand artists and organisations.
By investing in face-to-face engagement, the programme strengthens cultural exchange, expands New Zealand’s professional networks in Asia and increases the visibility of Aotearoa’s creative sector internationally.
