Arts Delegation Programme
The Arts Delegation Programme supports New Zealand arts decision-makers to build meaningful, long-term relationships with key organisations and events across Asia.
Each year we deliver at least three sector-specific delegations—bringing together senior practitioners from across the performing arts, visual arts and music sectors—to meet counterparts, discover new work, and develop pathways for collaboration.
Delegations are anchored around major festivals and market platforms, with a focus on high-value introductions, sector intelligence, and practical outcomes. Participants receive structured support before, during and after the visit, including briefings, networking facilitation, and follow-up designed to turn connections into tangible opportunities for New Zealand artists and organisations.
By investing in face-to-face engagement, the programme strengthens cultural exchange, expands New Zealand’s professional networks in Asia, and increases the visibility of Aotearoa’s creative sector internationally.
