CSCAP Regional Security Outlook
Nine prominent regional experts have teamed together to present their views on the real and urgent need for multilateral co-operation and institution-building to manage traditional and non-traditional security threats in the Asia-Pacific. The Council for Security Co-operation in the Asia-Pacific (CSCAP) Regional Security Outlook 2007, entitled Security through Co-operation: Furthering Asia-Pacific Multilateral Engagement, can be downloaded at the New Zealand Centre for Strategic Studies website. The CRSO will be an annual publication: the 2008 issue will be made available in early December this year. Is Track Two You?
The Asia New Zealand Foundation is developing a register of New Zealanders who have the skills, experience and expertise to contribute to New Zealand’s track two activities in the Asian region. This register will serve as both a directory of track two expertise in New Zealand and as a source from which the Asia New Zealand Foundation will draw to choose delegates for its track two initiatives in the region.
If you are already actively involved in New Zealand’s track two activities, or you have the specialist background and aspiration to be involved, then please let us know.
If this is you and you’d like to be on our register, please email a copy of your CV, with your name, phone number, email address and a brief note about your current or proposed track two involvement to: Heather Judson, Project Officer, Policy and Research.
If you have any questions, please contact Dr Andrew Butcher, Director, Policy and Research by email or on (04) 470 8705.
