You don't think "tropical" when you think of Liverpool - not unless you're a doctor looking to expand your knowledge of tropical medicines.

Young leader Shynn Ooi is just such a doctor, and she recently completed a three-month diploma at the University of Liverpool's School of Tropical Medicines.

Now, she's looking to put some of her newfound knowledge to use in Central America.
