Business models, new media, China and beyond
Earlier this year Julie Starr was invited to attend the international Reporting New Realities media conference in Hong Kong. With financial help from Asia:NZ's media programme she was also able to spend a few days exploring Hong Kong and, very briefly, Guangzhou in southern China.
The latter was an experience she plans to repeat in the future: "it was fascinating and deserves an account of its own," she said. Hong Kong impressed her, too. Here is Julie Starr's full report from her trip.
