Professional development

At Asia:NZ we recognise that principals are the driving force of change in our schools and work with them to reiterate the urgency of building Asia Aware schools for the 21st century.

Part of our assistance to school leaders in this mission is providing opportunities for professional development. The purpose of our teacher study programmes in Asia is to enable New Zealand principals and teachers to gain better awareness of Asia, and to use this knowledge to promote studies of Asia in primary and secondary schools in New Zealand.

Asia:NZ's education programme offers various professional development opportunities for school principals, teachers and other educators.
