Arts and community grants
Through the arts and community grants we support New Zealand-based organisations and individuals running projects of merit that educate New Zealanders about Asian arts and culture.
Eligibility
Art grants are available to:
arts and cultural institutions- New Zealand-based arts professionals
- local and regional councils
- festival and event organisers
- individuals who are New Zealand citizens or permanent residents.
The grants cover professional development, such as self-arranged residencies, as well as community events or projects supported by local government.
Note: We are no longer able to support community projects that primarily benefit the applicant community. Community-based projects must demonstrate support by local government or arts institutions. We are in the process of updating our application form to reflect these changes.
If you are unsure about your eligibility to apply, please email culture@asianz.org.nz.
