Flavours of Southeast Asia come to Wellington
The Southeast Asian Night Market is held every two years on the Wellington waterfront, and showcases the cultures and foods of the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
The market features delicious food, colourful crafts and non-stop Southeast Asian entertainments such as Indonesian puppetry, Malaysian teh tarik (back-and-forth tea pouring) and traditional games.
The 10 member countries of ASEAN are Brunei Darussalam, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar (Burma), the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand and Vietnam.

The next Southeast Asian Night Market will be held on Saturday 16 March 2013.
