Now you can transport yourself from Wellington’s stormy winter to the warmth, spicy fragrances and flavours of a typical Southeast Asian Night Market at the TSB Bank Arena.

Six Southeast Asian nations – Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Philippines, Indonesia and Viet Nam – have joined forces with community groups to bring you this magical new event in partnership with Wellington City Council and the Asia New Zealand Foundation.

Amongst the highlights will be Wayang Kulit puppeteers from Indonesia and specialist batik printers from Malaysia and Indonesia. The Singapore High Commission and the Royal New Zealand Plunket Society will hold a charity raffle, while the ASEAN Committee in Wellington Charity Fund will channel proceeds from stall rentals to Wellington City Mission.

Bring along the whole family to enjoy the best of food, craft and performances from Southeast Asia!
