Singapore Biennale 2008

11 September - 16 November 2008, various venues

The Singapore Biennale is Singapore’s largest showcase of contemporary art by renowned visual artists from around the globe.   This event follows on from the hugely successful inaugural event in 2006 and is based around the theme “wonder”, challenging visitors to wonder anew at the world they live in.  With both indoor and outdoor exhibitions at iconic landmarks in Singapore, curators hope to transport visitors to  a different dimension at every exhibition.
