Exhibition of Contemporary Indian Art

The Mori Art Museum will be the first museum in Japan to hold an exhibition of contemporary Indian art. The work of these young artists includes large-scale installations, digital art and interactive media-based art, in addition to more traditional art forms such as painting and sculpture.

The Third International Trienniale of Contemporary Art, Yokohama

13 September - 30 November 2008, various venues, Yokohama, Japan
The Yokohama Triennale series of international exhibitions of contemporary art will make its third exhibition in 2008.  A diverse range of artworks including videos, installations, photography, painting, and sculpture, by about 60 to 70 international artists will be exhibited.  While showcasing newly-released artworks of the cutting-edge contemporary art around the globe, the Triennale will also feature many site-specific works to enhance the host city, Yokohama.  Supplementary events will be conducted during the exhibition period, including symposiums, workshops and gallery talks to enhance dialogue between artists, participants, and visitors.
