Asia:NZ is regularly represented by staff at important events and functions. Submissions and speeches are also made to seminars, conferences and in the media. Below are some selected recent pieces. In this section, we also occasionally publish submissions by stakeholders we work closely with.

• Asia:NZ research director Dr Andrew Butcher presented at the ISANA conference, held in Canberra from 1 to 4 December 2009. Papers included International students and international relations: Bridging the gap between education and foreign policies and Choices and Expectations of Asia-born New Zealand trained business graduates (co-presented with Terry McGrath)

• Asia:NZ executive director Dr Richard Grant addressed the annual Journalism Educators of New Zealand conference in Rotorua on 3 December 2009.

• Asia:NZ executive director Dr Richard Grant discusses the launch of the Business Education Partmership and the increasing importance of Asia to New Zealand on Radio NZ's Sunday Morning with Chris Laidlaw programme on 22 November.

• Asia:NZ executive director Dr Richard Grant was asked to present at the Japan-New Zealand Business Council’s 36th meeting, held in Tokyo on 29 and 30 October.  He participated in a session on regional economic integration. Here is his speech (PDF document).
