Leadership Network Advisory Board - expressions of interest

Interested in being a member of the Leadership Network advisory board?

We’re looking for three network members to join the advisory board in 2017. The group’s main role is to provide feedback, advice and input to the Leadership Network management team and the Asia New Zealand Foundation.

Members also represent and support members of the network.

What’s required of advisory board members?

You need to:

  1. Be willing and able to do a two-year term on the advisory board. This involves attending three meetings a year in New Zealand. Offshore members will need to ensure they can skype into meetings.
  2. Have an interest in the future direction of the Leadership Network.
  3. Commit to being prepared for all meetings, and take ownership of working groups as and when required.

For more information on the role of the Advisory Board, please read the Terms of Reference (PDF-538KB).

How to apply:

Submit a one-page letter outlining the skills that you will bring to the advisory board, and why you would like to be involved, to Masina Taulapapa by 13 March 2017.

Selection criteria:

Membership of the group will be by invitation of the Foundation’s Deputy Executive Director, on recommendation of the network management team and the advisory board.

Geographic location, professional sector, demographics, and skills and expertise will be taken into account when selecting candidates to ensure the group represents the network membership.
