Giving back: Enterprise in Action, Wellington 29-30 June

For the third consecutive year, the Foundation is mentoring a team at the Young Enterprise Trust event, Enterprise in Action. This is an opportunity for members to give back and to grow your coaching and mentoring skills. Plus it's good fun!

There is a slight change this year – rather than the event running over a weekend, it will now run over Friday and Saturday 29-30 June. The Foundation can provide a letter to employers to support your application. It’s also an opportunity to connect with the Advisory Board, who will be in the office on the Saturday.

Young Enterprise Trust provides a range of enterprise and financial literacy resources to New Zealand schools, with the aim of developing students with an enterprising attitude.

The YET Enterprise in Action event is a national event for 80 students. Held over two days, 10 teams are given two 24-hour business challenges. Each team is mentored by a company or organisation. The event is held in conjunction with Massey University. Six students will then be selected to travel to the International Trade Challenge, generally somewhere in Asia, to represent New Zealand.

We are looking for four people. Up to two can be from outside of Wellington. Accommodation and flights will be covered. If you have any questions, in the first instance please refer to the FAQs. If your query is not answered here, contact Adam.

Participants will be responsible for getting to and from their local airport, and any other personal spending money.

Application process

To apply, please submit an express of interest by Friday 25 May.
