This interactive workshop will address this question by combining the practical insights of a New Zealand company exporting to South Korea with tools developed by the University of Auckland Business School.
Ecostore export manager Hamish McCarroll will work with small groups in conjunction with the Business School's MBA programme lecturers to deliver practical learning for South Korea-facing SMEs.
Hamish has extensive international experience ranging from the European finance sector to f&b exporting at Heinz-Watties in New Zealand. The group work methodology used by the Business School is based on extensive research into New Zealand businesses' engagement with Asian markets conducted by the New Zealand Asia Institute.
The workshop is aimed primarily at SMEs wanting to increase their commitment to Korea and will equip participants with practical tools to successfully navigate the challenge of engaging distributors in what has been a rewarding market for many New Zealand businesses.
